Step 1

Case review and cease and desist letter.

The first step is the one most disputes end at. For a fixed fee of $275, we review your evidence, tell you in writing how strong it is, and send your neighbor a formal letter from the firm.

What you get

  1. A review of your file. We read your log, look at your recordings and photographs, and check the local rules that apply to your address.
  2. A written case analysis. It sets out what a nuisance claim has to show, which of your facts support each point, and what is missing. It rates the strength of your evidence, so you can decide whether going further is worth it.
  3. A cease and desist letter from the firm. It describes the nuisance specifically, identifies any code being violated, states what needs to change, and asks for a response by a set date.

Why a letter from a law firm works

Most neighbors stop when they understand that the problem has been documented and that someone is prepared to act on it. The letter also does legal work. Nevada law does not require notice before a nuisance claim, but a neighbor who has been told in writing and carries on can no longer say they did not know. That matters to how a court sees the conduct later.

What we need first

  • Proof other than your own account: recordings, readings, dated photographs, or agency reports
  • A log covering at least two to three weeks, if the nuisance is ongoing
  • The neighbor's name, if known, and address
  • A copy of any polite letter you already sent

If you do not have proof yet, start with our free incident log and documentation guides, or ask about evidence monitoring.

What the letter will not do

It will not threaten criminal charges or anything we would not actually do. A letter that overreaches invites a fight. Ours states the facts, the law, and the request.

What happens next

  • The nuisance stops, or the neighbor agrees to a fix. Most people stop here.
  • The neighbor ignores it or refuses. The file is then ready for step 2.

Cost and guarantee

Step 1 is a fixed fee of $275. If you are not satisfied with the service we provided, we refund it. The guarantee covers our work, not how your neighbor responds.

Prefer to try it yourself first? Our polite letter builder is free, and we recommend it.

This page is general information about Nevada law, not legal advice. Every dispute turns on its own facts and documents.

Tell us what is happening next door. We will tell you where you stand.

Describe the problem once, in writing, and send whatever proof you have. We review it before anyone gets on the phone, so the conversation is about your options.
